Lorene Inez Horton Adams passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 93.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Raymond Adams who she was married for 72 years; her son Billy Ray Adams and her parents Ossie and Maude Horton as well as her two sisters, Marie Copeland and Peggy Coley.
She is survived by her daughter Peggy Adams England, her son Dennis Adams and her daughter-in-law Debbie Adams (Billy). She was loved by her four grandchildren who she helped raise, Tahara (Hal) Wood, Chris Adams, Christy Adams, and Brittany Adams (Travis). Lorene was the proud great-grandmother of Anthony Evans, Will Evans, Maggie Evans, Sara Wood, Spencer Wood, Sheyenne Adams, Cansas Williams, Cloey Williams, Brooklyn Booth, and Gavin Booth.
She was a member of Royal Community Church for over 60 years. She loved baseball, especially her Braves. She will be forever missed by her family.
Visitation will be held at Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 12:30PM on Wednesday, July 6 with Chapel Services at 2PM and burial to follow in Valley Hill Memorial Gardens.
