The Life Reflection of Bert Ford Junior

On February the 29th, 1956 Albertis Ford and Ruthmae Brock Ford of Pinewood, South Carolina gave birth to a son named Bert Ford Junior, who was also known as Junebug to his family and friends.

Junebug attended public schools in Philadelphia. Junebug was raised up at Faith Tabernacle church, at 15th and Poplar Street in Philadelphia. Later his father Albertis Ford accepted the lord Christ Jesus as his personal savior, and Albertis also joined faith Tabernacle church. Junebug accepted the Lord Christ Jesus in his life as a young boy, where his mother and grandmother would pray in the families living room at 2436 W. Master Street in Philly.

Junebug wore many hats in working. One of his first jobs in high school, was a fast-food restaurant called Gino's on Broad Street in Philly, where he painted Christmas decorations on the window. With his great artistic abilities, he took a personal liking to the Santa Clause and his Reindeer painting. Junebug loved to paint and draw, he was very talented and admired in this area. He also worked at the corner store across from Blumbarg projects, making the best sandwiches. Throughout his youth he worked several other jobs, such as a security guard and a diner where he became a great cook. However, his ultimate favorite job was the candy factory, because he worked with his favorite Aunt Panasy. With such love for the job and people he continued to work there for several years.

Although, he was a man for working a lot, he made time for relaxing as well. During his down time, he loved to watch Karate and Cowboy movies. Because he loved Karate movies so much, he came up with the name Mingo, for himself. His favorite movie ever being Bruce lee. Another thing Junebug loved were his bikes. From the time he was a little boy, till he was a senior he loved riding his bike. Junebug had many bikes in his home, and would ride it everywhere he had gone.

Junebug later moved to York, Pennsylvania to better his life. He soon met his good friend Mary Cabrera and her daughter Natasha MCarthur. There he became a family man, and loved to spend time with his grandchildren, taking them to movie theaters all of the time.

On January 31, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. Bert Ford Junior departed this earthly home to claim his heavenly resting place. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Albertis and Ruthmae Ford, his sister Denise Ingram, his two brothers Jermaine and Demetrius Ford, his niece Dauwn Ford.
