BARKS Mrs. Arminte Barks was born March 4, 1860 near Marble Hill, Mo., and
died November 7, 1916, at the age of 56 years, eight months and three days.
In 1897, on November 1st, she was married to William Barks at Yreka, Cal. Mrs.
Barks united with the Methodist church in early youth and died* a consistent
christian. She suffered greatly the last three years of her life of cancer, of
which she died.
To mourn her loss she leaves her husband and two sons Clyde and Carl, and a wide
circle of friends.
The funeral service was held at the Mt. Laki church November 8th. The church was
filled by those desiring to pay a last respect to one who, with her husband, has
so lived as to command the respect and high esteem of their many friends and
acquaintances in a business as well as in a social way. The services were
conducted by L.E. Tupper.
