Miss Dorothy Christian Blair (of Avontoun, Linlithgowshire, Scotland) died on Wednesday last at 22, Upperton-gardens, Eastbourne. The deceased lady, who had reached the advanced age of eighty-three, was granddaughter the late Mr. Robert Blair, of Avontoun (President of the Supreme Courts Scotland). She had resided in Eastbourne for many years, and only a few weeks ago she succeeded the late Mr. Henry T. Blair (her brother) owner of the estate of Avontoun.
