Son of New York crime boss Joseph Bonanno Married Rosalie Profaci the niece of Joe Profaci in 1956. Mr Bonanno wrote the story of his life "Bound by Honor:A Mafioso's story. In 2005, Mr Bonanno teamed up with Joe Pistone a former undercover FBI agent who infiltrated the Bonanno family under the name Donnie Brasco and help convict dozens of mobsters. The pair wrote a mob novel together. Mr Bonanno died from a heart attack he survived by his wife of 51 years, sons Charles, Joseph, and daughter Gigi.
