Clarence Darden Wilkins was born on September 30, 1921 in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of Rufus Franklin "Frank" Wilkins Sr (1895–1950) and Angie C (Powell) Wilkins (1900–1963).
He was married to Jennie Patience Duncan.
Clarence was an officer in the Enforcement Division of Tennessee Department of Revenue. Living in Nashville, he was 77 years old and married when he passed away on July 31, 1999 at a local hospital.
Survivors included his widow Jennie, two married daughters, two Hardison grandsons, three great-grandchildren, sisters Thelma J Watts and Ernestine Osborne, sisters-in-law Nannie Wilkins and Ruth Wilkins and a number of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were held on August 6th at Seay-Hubbard United Methodist Church, and burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashville.
