Chet and his twin brother were the first of fourteen children born to Maggie E. Kent and Lester A. Richardson. He married Florence Ruth Terrell on 18 May 1939 and they had three known children.

PERSONAL NOTE: For many years, Chet ran a sawmill near his home and just down the hill from the home of his Mother (my Aunt). I can well remember my visits to their home during my youth, and two of their kids, Toodles and Sonny!
