Uncle Gordon was the only son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Engel) Leniczek. He farmed with his dad for 15 years before raising a family of 4 sons and 4 daughters on the farm with his wife Marge. They retired from farming in 1994, taking up residence in Lemberg. The family farm is currently operated by their second son and his family.
