Nancy Nenninger Keating, beloved wife of William J. Keating who preceded her in death. Nancy and Bill raised 7 children. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She passed away peacefully at home on Christmas Eve at age 94. Nancy attended St. Ursula Academy, where she was president of her senior class as well as class valedictorian. From there, she attended the University of Cincinnati and excelled in her many activities. She was a member of the Tri-Delta Sorority and was also initiated into Omicron Nu (Home Economics Honorary), Iota Sigma Pi (Chemistry Honor Society), and Alpha Lambda Delta (Leadership Honorary). She served on the Wig Wag Council, Student Council, the Y, and Junior Advisors. She was also a member of Mortar Board and Women's Senate President. In 1977, Nancy christened the USS Cincinnati Submarine (SSN-693). She served on the Bicentennial Commission celebrating Cincinnati's 200th birthday. She always recognized the needs of others, volunteering at the Walnut Hills Soup Kitchen for over 20 years and delivering Meals on Wheels.
