Hockey Player. He played for the Alexandria Crescents and his death occurred in a game against the Maxwell Hockey Club. He was the first professional hockey player noted to have died from injuries sustained in a game. The game between the two teams was very rough with many penalties being served throughout. The intense rivalry was reported to have been religious based.
