Shirley Jean Barney, 70, of Masontown, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Shirley was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 25, 1951, a daughter of Thomas Herbert Barney and the late Melba Mae (Thomas) Barney.
She worked for they Wynford School District in Ohio as a librarian and as a medical lab technician, phlebotomist, and in the medical records department. She loved her family and animals. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, and canning. Shirley also loved to ride motorcycles.
In addition to her father, Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; one grandson, her companion, one brother and four sisters.
