Jefferson City News-Tribune (MO) - Sunday, November 14, 1999:

William H. Lupardus Sr., 76, Tuscumbia, died Nov. 11, 1999, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital, Osage Beach. He was born Dec. 14, 1922, in Kansas City, a son of Haskel F. and Luzon Helton Lupardus. He was married March 14, 1942, to Genevieve Opal Simpson, who died Dec. 9, 1976. He was married Oct. 25, 1997, in Tuscumbia, to Cheryl Cather, who survives at the home.

A lifelong resident of Miller County, he worked as a master finish carpenter in Kansas City for more than 30 years. He then retired to his gun shop in Miller County.

Other survivors include: two sons, Steve Lupardus, Waynesville, and William H. Lupardus Jr., Camdenton; one brother, James Lupardus, Ulman; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home. Jim Parkinson will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
