DORSEY, Coline F. — Of DeWitt, N.Y., died after a brief illness on October 7th, 2011, in Iroquois Nursing Home, Jamesville, N.Y. in her 81st year, surrounded by members of her family. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Honorable Angus L. Macdonald and Agnes (Foley) Macdonald. Coline was a graduate of Sacred Heart Convent, Halifax and Dalhousie University. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Cmdr. Laurens Dorsey, US Navy (Ret'd); son, Laurens M. Dorsey; daughters, Eileen Ann (Jared) Littleboy, Jane F. Dorsey and Brigid K. Dorsey and by her beloved grandsons, Adam M. Littleboy, Jake L. Littleboy and Christophe A. Dorsey-Guillaumin. She is also survived by her brother, Angus L. Macdonald, River John and Halifax; sister, Oonagh Brigid (Neil) Magrath, Toronto. Predeceased by her parents and her sister, Eileen V. Macdonald. In accordance with Coline's wishes, cremation has taken place and their is neither visitation nor a funeral service. Private family interment will take place at a later date in the US Naval Academy Columbarium, Annapolis, Md. and Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
