Kenneth Dale Burkhart
September 24, 1962 ~ January 8, 2021 (age 58)

Kenneth Dale Burkhart, 58, of Soddy-Daisy, slipped into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 8, 2021. Born in Chattanooga, he was a welder by trade and was employed by Life Care Center of Red Bank. Ken was a kind and gentle Christian man who loved spending time with his family, playing guitar, restoring trucks and his Georgia Bulldogs. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nellie Burkhart and his brother, Earl Brickley.

Kenneth was my little brother and one of the kindest, warmest individuals I have ever known. He learned to sing before he could talk and possessed an excellent tenor voice and was a tremendous harmony singer. As a teenager he took up bass guitar and for awhle played with The Happy Four gospel singers of Trenton, Ga.

He was always a hard worker and spent his final days working maintenance at a local nursing home. He worked long hours there and often assisted with the residents as well, handing out food trays and sitting with them. It was there he was exposed to the Covid disease that would end his life too soon.

Kenneth is gone now but will never be forgotten by his family and friends.
