Peoria, IL - Carolyn "CA" Allison, 72, of Peoria departed this life amongst loving family on May 16, 2021 at her residence at 1:45 a.m.
She was born on September 9, 1948 in Lambert, MS to Luther and Fannie Mae Allison. Carolyn worked at Pere Marquette for many years then for Goodwill until taken ill.
She enjoyed dancing, music, cooking, and being around family. She was known to her family as an extremely outgoing person and will be missed.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving mother, Fannie Mae Allison of Peoria; one son, Ali Lamont Allison of Peoria; two daughters, Ashanti Allison of Peoria and Anita (Lee) Glenn of Chicago; two brothers, Luther Allison Jr. of Chicago and Bernard Allison of St. Paul, MN; three sisters, JoAnne (Tyrone) Jordan of Winter Garden, FL, Juliette Drain and Connie Drain both of Peoria; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, three brothers, and one sister.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at T.W. Parks Colonial Chapel. Interment will be private.
