Daughter of Thomas Betsey Cornish. Married age 19 (reportedly 18) to Methodist Rev. Nathaniel Swift, 10 May 1860 in Pembroke, MA. First lived together at his ministry in Eastham, MA (?), later when he went into business with brother Gustavus, they lived in Albany, NY and Chicago. IL. Two daughters, Eva Cecilia (m. Will Watch Copley) and Bessie Freeman (m. John Seymore Bangs).
