She arrived in Canada in 1951 from Bobbio, Piacenza, coming to marry her fiance Trieste (Tony). Together they shared 53 years raising their children Carlo, Maria (James) and Gloria (Mathew). Mom's main focus in life was her family, a job she did extremely well and something that will live on in each of us. The kitchen was the hub of the home, the gathering place for games night and many meals shared together.
No one had more pride and love for grandchildren than Nonna. She will always be in the hearts of her cherished grandchildren Patrick (Rebecca) Wilkerson, Anna (Brandon) Jeffries, Marissa and Katrina Waldron.
Prayers for Teresa will take place at St. Edward's Parish, at 7pm on Thursday, February 24th, and the funeral mass will be at 11 am Friday, February 25th at St. Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cowichan District Hospital Foundation, #4 466 Trans Canada Highway, Duncan, V9L 3R6 or the charity of your choice.
