DEATH OF MRS. P. A. RAE
In the death of Mrs. P. A. Rae Wednesday, March 9, 1921, Sabetha lost another of her aged residents, one who made Sabetha a better and happier place by her presence. For a number of years Mrs. Rae, lovingly called "Grandma Rae," has lived with her son, W. J. Reynolds. During the several years of her illness and suffering she has shown the same Christian spirit that characterized her previous life. Her gentle kindly manner impressed all who were about her. She was always ready and willing to give assistance.

Mrs. Rae was born August 13, 1828 in Plainville, N.Y. She has been a faithful consistent member of the Baptist church since she was 16 years old.

She was married in 1850 to Obed F. Worth, who died in 1854. To this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Helen C. Jordan of Denver, Colorado.

In 1859 Mrs. Worth was married to Dr. John R. Reynolds, who died in 1872. J. W. Reynolds of Syracuse, N. Y. and W. J. Reynolds of Sabetha are the sons born to this union.

In 1874 Mrs. Reynolds married Rev. F. F. Rae, who died in 1888.

The funeral services were held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. W. D. Belton. Interment was in the Sabetha cemetery.
