BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. — Rhoda Mae Brock, age 93, of Baxter Springs, Kan., passed from this life Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, at Quaker Hill Nursing Home, Lowell, Kan.
Rhoda was born March 25, 1914, to the union of William and Mary (Essick) Barker.
Rhoda was united in marriage to Clifford Lee Brock on Aug. 31, 1946, in Columbus, Kan. He precedes her in death along with her parents.
Survivors include three sons, Ivan Brock, of Galena, Kan., Jessie Brock, of Quapaw, Okla., and Bobby Dean Wolfe, of Galena; two special nieces, Linda Tucker and Mary House, both of Neosho, Mo.; along with 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Rhoda is preceded by all of her other 11 siblings.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at Lowell Cemetery. Rev. Ed Woolery will officiate. Family will receive friends Monday from 12 until 1:30 p.m. at Derfelt's Baxter Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt's Baxter Chapel, Baxter Springs.
