Deborah Lynn May, age 65, of Tyler Texas, daughter to the late Homer & Marcia McMurrian (both parents deceased), went to be with her Lord & Savior on Sunday, January 24th, 2021 at home with her husband & children by her bedside. She was a life time member of the Swan Wood Springs United Methodist Church in Tyler Texas. A member of her favorite church choir for many years.
Debbie was a graduate of John Tyler High School, & a member of the High School Drill Team.
She loved music, a love of music she acquired by her loving Father.
She loved music so dearly she studied music at Tyler Junior College, and acquired to learn many instruments, guitar, piano, & organ.
Debbie began working for Goodwill Industries of Tyler Texas. Worked her way into becoming a Manager.
Debbie was married to the great love of her life, Ronald L. May of Tyler Texas for Thirty years.
Debbie left behind two children, son Justin Wayne Lee, daughter Kimberly Jean Lee, and Brother Scott McMurrian & his wife, Deeann; grand children, Brandon Gober & Caleb Gober.
Debbie loved her God & Savior with all her heart, a devoted Christian. She was a sweet & precious lady. Her focus in life was her husband, children, family & friends.
Her smile & laughter filled a room. With her husband by her side they raised their children with great love.
She knew no strangers, had a heart of gold & kindness, sweet Debbie did.
She knew her time was near, she was ready to meet her God & Savior, she prepared her family for the worst, the worst not being there for them, until they meet again by God's plans.
We shall miss her smiling face, her delightful laughter, her kindness of mankind. A truly precious lady & woman.
On March 06th, 2021 a memorial will be held in her honor, at her church, Swan Wood Springs Methodist Church approximately hours between Noon & 1 PM, located on Hwy 69, in Tyler Texas.
Debbie left behind precious memories for us all, we shall love her, miss her and recall how she enriched our lives with her compassion, her pure heart.
She was a my friend, I shall miss our long talks, our phone calls, our girlfriend conversations, hearing her laughter, her encouragement always to others.
We had the joy of working together at Goodwill of East Texas located in Tyler Texas, I will cherish her love, friendship and memories for all my life. God Bless you Debbie Eternally, you were an Angel here on earth, your an Angel In Heaven now, no pain, singing in God's Choir, precious memories sweet friend.
