Lloyd Browning, Jr., age 51, died Thursday, June 27, 1996 at his residence. Born October 28, 1944 in Mackville, he was the son of Barbara Young Browning and the late Lloyd Sylvester Browning Sr. He was a repairman for Trane Company in Lexington for 29 years, a member and Trustee at St. Peters AME Church, and a 1964 graduate of Harrodsburg High School. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include: his wife, Christine Singleton Browning, Harrodsburg; two sons, Lloyd J. Browning, McLean, VA, Christopher M. Browning, Campbellsville; one daughter, Sharon Logan, Lancaster; two brothers, James I. Browning and John W. Browning, both of Harrodsburg; four sisters, Georgia Dunn, Judy Jones, Mary Harris and Barbara Meaux, all of Harrodsburg. Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 1, at St. Peters AME Church with Rev. J. T. Ballew officiating. Burial was in Hilldale Cemetery in Danville.
