Hugo, Oklahoma - Goldie Kelley Mitchell, 57, of Terral, Oklahoma, died Monday, August 14, 1995, of injuries in an automobile accident near Waurika, Oklahoma. Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, at the First Baptist Church in Terral, Oklahoma, with the Rev. Walter Haynie officiating. Grantham-Worley Funeral Home will make burial in Terral Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell was born in Hugo on November 22, 1937, a daughter of Oscar and Mollie Lemons. She attended Hugo schools and married Ray Lee Mitchell on September 17, 1955. She was a carpenter and worked for Elliott Manufacturing Co. in Waurika, for more than 12 years.
Surviving are five daughters, Reta Wever, Glenda Capps, Diane Crawner, Patricia Martin and Shelia Smith; one son, Lee Mitchell, Jr.; two brothers, Bobby and Charlie Lemons; five sisters, Barbara Babcock, Stella Jefferson, Renee Wims, Sylvia Trantham and Lois Hammons; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
