Florence is the daughter of John Fredrick Ledermann and Phoebe Berrillar Carpenter. She married Rollen Jesse Copper 13 Feb 1934 in Marshall, Clark, IL. They had 3 children: two daughters and one son.

The community was shocked and grieved to learn of the death of Mrs. Rolan Copper, which occurred Friday evening. Many friends from here attended the funeral which was held Monday evening at the Bailiff church. Interment was in the Bailiff cemetery. The entire community extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
