She was a member of the Crumpler United Methodist Church and a member of the Pythian sisters in its early organization.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ed Adams in 1960 and three sons.
Survivors include one daughter, Miss Gladys Adams of Crumpler; two sons, Fred Adams of Welch and Lamma Adams of Raleigh, N.C. 10 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Crumpler United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Hanson and Rev. Allen Ridenour officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call at the Bennett Fanning Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services. Pallbearers will be Emory Bailey, Kermit Lambert, Frankie Otey, Junior Young, Fred Iddings, Jerry Harris, Fred Poe and R.G. Mahady. Ladies of the church will be flowerbearers.
