Richard "Rick" C. Dupee Sr., age 66, of Pittsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, with his family by his side. A time of Remembrance will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Parkway) in Marshfield. Military Honors will be held at 5:00 PM and Prayers will be said at 8:00 PM.
Rick was born July 8, 1949 to Everett Sr. and Doris (Meyer) Dupee in Marshfield. He attended Auburndale Schools and went on to serve his country proudly in the US Army during Vietnam. After his honorable discharge he returned to Wisconsin and worked as a construction laborer. On December 9, 1988 Rick was united in marriage to Susan S____.
Richard was a Life Member of the VFW in Pittsville Post 7131. He was an avid football fan who especially liked watching the Packers and Badgers. Rick enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who took great joy in spending time with the grand kids. Those that knew him best miss his caring spirit and great sense of humor.
He is lovingly survived by his wife: Susan Dupee; his children... He will truly be missed.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents: Everett Sr. and Doris; his first wife: Margaret "Reshel" Dupee; children: Daniel Stephens and Richard Dupee Jr.; as well as his siblings: Everett Dupee Jr. and David Dupee....
