Douglas Eugene Atkins, 73, of Campobello, SC passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

Son of the late Thomas Eugene Atkins (1921–1999) and Vivian Rollins Atkins (1929–2019); husband of Mary Gerlaine Brigman Atkins (1947–2016).

A member of Bible Baptist Church; retired from logging; and served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

Survived by a son, Brian Atkins; sister, Frances Atkins Crocker; brothers, Ansel Atkins, Bobby Atkins, and Allen Atkins; and two grandchildren.

Predeceased by a brother, Edward Atkins (1947–1961); and a sister, Barbara Atkins (1958–1958).

Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens conducted by Dr. Tommy Turner.
