Hank's family was very important to him. He helped us and his friends and neighbors in any way he could. Hank was kind, loving and fun. He loved to cook for his family. After we bought a Bread Machine, he had a lot of fun baking bread for us and our neighbors.

He was an enthusiastic outdoors man. Hank enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities; hiking, canoeing, skiing, snowshoeing, bonfires on the beach, vegetable gardening and especially bird watching. He also enjoyed photography, sketching, water color painting, reading and playing scrabble and other games.
Hank grew up on the shores of Kennebecasis Bay and after he retired he returned to where he grew up. He continued to work for some years after retirement. He was very committed to his community on the Kingston Peninsula and participated in many community events.
