Tom, Florian J. Bourassa, passed peacefully at his home in Danbury, CT on Wendsday June 13, 2018.

Tom was the son of Wilfrid and Aldea (Couture) Bourassa born on March 27,1934. He grew up in Coos County, N.H. on his family owned and operated 575 acre dairy farm. He attended Colebrook Academy and was a member of the FFA (future farmers of America) club.

After serving in the United States Army with the 317th company of engineers in Germany, Tom relocated to Danbury, CT. He worked as an Electrical Lineman and is a Founding Father of IBEW local #42. Tom also worked for Sperry Rail Service, and was a members of the American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Madeleine. Tom is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Kimberly, and their seven children: Mitchell, Thomas, Trisha, Timothy, Jason, Melinda and Sean, and many adored Grandchildren. His sister, Regina, mother in law Gloria, sister in law Sharon, brother in law Gary, nieces and nephew. And many dear friends,

He will be remembered as a hard working, reliable, compassionate man, most comfortable enjoying time with his family and maintaining his home and gardens.
