Daughter of Simon "Byrd" Wilson and Sarah Nantz. She first married James Garrett Caldwell in 1886 and they had one son together, Floyd Caldwell. Mary then married Thomas Jefferson Asher Sr in 1892 and together they had 6 children 5 that lived to adulthood, one that died as infant; Dorothy Asher Hall (1890-1975), Thomas Jefferson Asher Jr (1894-1965), Leemon Asher (1895-1980), Emily Asher Collett (1897-1983), and James "Jim" Asher (1900-1988). After husband Tom died in 1901 she married Beverley "Bev" Jones in 1902. She passed away in 1930 at Red Bird hospital following a brief illness.
