"She was a happy girl with a smile that went on forever."

On our way to see the litter of puppies, we wondered how we would pick one. We didn't have to worry. Our girl picked us. She was always a good girl, except for pulling on her leash. She was smart and learned tricks easily, especially when she knew a treat was coming. She never chewed things that didn't belong to her and she loved everyone. Phoebe never ventured out of her yard. People thought we had invisible fencing because she was so good about staying on our property. She was a gentle, loving soul every day of her life.
Phoebe loved to play frisbee and would take a "victory lap" after she made a good catch. She loved to help with the laundry and had a special wash cloth that she would dig from the clean clothes basket and proudly carry upstairs. Carrots and apples were two of her favorite things and it was silly to think that we could have either without sharing with her.
In 2008, she found a kitten in our front yard. That kitten, Clive, joined our family and Clive and Phoebe were lifelong best friends.
Phoebe was preceded in death by her two grandmothers, Betty and Eileen; her feline sisters Tasha and Isabelle; and her feline brother Cosmo.
She is survived by her BFF, Clive; feline sister Lily; feline brother Spencer; and her loving parents, Gary and Melanie. We will always love our precious girl.
