Route 2, sister, Mrs. Annie Jo Carroll, Gadsden, Route 2, brothers, W. F. Duncan, Gadsden; Route 5 and C. R. Duncan, Gadsden; Route 2, grandson, Brian Hayes, Gadsden, Route 2.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Union Number 3 Baptist Church with the Revs. Henry Smedley and Ellis Jones officiating. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.
Active pallbearers, Clarke Lewis, Jr , Tommy Duncan, Johnny Duncan, Charles Morris, Alan Fox, Eric Pentecost, Alan Hudson, Michael Fox.
Mr. Duncan was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. He was a member and deacon of Union Number 3 Baptist Church. Mr. Duncan was a veteran of World War II and was employed with Republic Steel Corporation for 32 years prior to his retirement.
The body will remain at Collier-Butler Parlors and will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. this evening.
