Mrs Lovey L Hurtt, 97, widow of Albert S Hurtt, died at her home on 208 Elizabeth St., following a prolonged illness.
She was Delmar's oldest citizen and the oldest member of the First Methodist Church in Delmar.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs Addie Snowden; a granddaughter, Mrs Thomas Nelson, and a great-grandson, Thomas S Nelson, all of Delmar.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from her late home. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Delmar.
