Infanta Beatriz of Spain (Beatriz Isabel Federica Alfonsa Eugénie Cristina Maria Teresia Bienvenida Ladislàa de Borbón y Battenberg), was a daughter of King Alfonso XIII of Spain and Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg; a great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria; paternal aunt of King Juan Carlos of Spain; and the wife of Alessandro Torlonia, 5th Prince di Civitella-Cesi. Their wedding took place on January 14, 1935 at the Church of the Gesù, in the presence of her father, King Alfonso, as well as the King and Queen of Italy. Neither her mother, Queen Victoria Eugenie, nor her eldest brother, Alfonso, Count of Covadonga, attended the wedding as they were on bad terms with King Alfonso.
She died at her home in Palazzo Torlonia, in Rome, on November 22, 2002, the last surviving child of Alfonso XIII and the last surviving grandchild of Alfonso XII of Spain.
