R. E. Lee Dulaney owned and operated Cotton Gins in and around Ector, Texas. He also was associated with W. L. Dulaney and Sons, of Paris, Texas. He was married to Laura Belle (Nelms) Dulaney, the daughter of Americus Leonidas Nelms and Minerva Jane (Pierce) Nelms. Robert L. was the son of John Paul Dulaney and Catherine Medora (Thornton)Dulaney. All are buried in Carson Cemetery near Ector, Texas.

Relatives Receive Word of Death of R. L. Dulaney

Relatives here received word of the death of R. L Dulaney which occurred Thursday at his home in Wichita Falls. The funeral services will be held in Ector, Saturday at 2:30 pm.

Mr. Dulaney was a half-brother of the late W.F. Dulaney and was for many years a traveling salesman for W.F. Dulaney and Sons, mill supply dealers.

He had made his home in Paris until his retirement four or five years ago when his family moved to Wichita Falls. His wife died there several years ago. Several children survive. The Paris News. 16 February 1940, page 2. Paris, Texas.
