Edith Mae Buzzard Dial
Nov. 29, 1925-Feb. 20, 2020
Seattle, Wash.

Our dear mom, Edith Mae Buzzard Dial, passed away peacefully in the arms of family Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020.

Mom was a model of strength and survival. She learned very early in her childhood how to embrace life as it was presented to her. Through hard work and determination she would lead the way to find the best path forward. She was very talented and artistic, with that, she often found the most creative way to conquer life. Mom mentored many and was a great teacher of practical life lessons. Her home was always open, and you were often greeted by, "Did you eat?" Mom was always willing to lend a helping hand and did so with utmost sincerity. We all enjoyed her humor and her entertaining ways. She would rally audience participation and Edith was definitely the life of the party. She left a lasting impression with everyone she met and always created lifelong friendships. As her children, we are forever grateful for the life, love and knowledge she gifted us. Our parents, Mark and Edith Dial are now reunited in everlasting peace.

Edith Mae Buzzard Dial was born Nov. 29, 1925 in Cebu City, Phillippines, to the parents, Ulysses Grant and Enrica Buzzard.

She is survived by her sister; sister-in-law; children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and loving nieces and nephews.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Mark C. Dial; sons-in-law, Terry Adelman and Douglas Rorke.

"Thank you Lord for being a branch from a very special root, stock and vine." by Andre Dial.
