Murph was the precious ferret "son" of findagrave contributor Frank Russo. He was a rescue ferret who was adopted when he his family could no longer take care of him. When he first arrived he was scared and wary of our other furbabies, since he was raised around cats only. One of our sweethearts, Olive, was the one.who made him feel welcome, as she groomed him and laid next to him the first night at our house. After that, he got along perfectly with everyone. Murph was an extremely mellow furbaby, who moved to the beat of his own drum. He loved to stand on his hind legs and begs for treats, which he absolutely loved. He was well behaved and exceptionally sweet and loved to play with his his brothers and sisters. He also loved eating pesto sauce. Sadly, he started having trouble walking when his belly swelled up due to an enlarged spleen in the late summer of 2019. He was diagnosed with inoperable cancer and lasted less than a week. I held him in my arms when he crossed over to the rainbow bridge, showing him as much love as possible. I'll miss my little boy everyday for the rest of my life and hope to see him, along with all of my furbabies very soon. We love you Sweet Murph.
