Born January 3, 1940 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late George and Mildred Jamieson.
He was a member of Saint Matthias Episcopal Church, was retired from Fieldale Farms, and served in the Georgia Army National Guard for several years.
He is survived by Jeanette Jamieson of Toccoa; two daughters, Renee Barnette and Ray Bender, and Michelle Jamieson; and a son Charles “Clay “ Jamieson all of Toccoa. Grandchildren; Will and Mandy Barnette, Corie Barnette and Matthew Johnson, Tia Jamieson, and Zack Thomas; Great-Grandchildren Bailey and Brady Barnette, and Jaxson Crowe; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, George Jamieson, Fred Jamieson and Joe Jamieson; two sisters, Carol Johnson and Ruth Downey; and a granddaughter Melissa Barnette.
