Ken was born on July 11, 1926, in Flint, to George and Florence (Cole) Daly.
After graduating from Lapeer High School in 1944, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served in World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Daly was employed by General Motors for 33 years, retiring in 1985. Kenneth was married to the love of his life, Ileen Marie (Platt) Daly for 62 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Katherine Daly of Goodyear, AZ, Kay (Dean) Vargo of Basehor, KS, and Kim (Craig) Daly-Vargo, Flint Twp.; grandchildren, Michael, Gay, Jennifer, Joshua, Jonathan, Julia and Jordan; and greatgrandchildren, Sydney, Gianna, Olivia, Lucas, Keegan, Hunter, Josie, Kason, Alexa, Hudson and Kannon; along with many precious nieces and nephews.
Mr. Daly was preceded in death by his wife, Ileen; son, Kenneth Jr.; brother, William; and sister, Roslyn.
A special thanks to the Woodhaven Sr. Living residents and staff, Homestead Home Health and McLaren Hospice Nurses. Kenneth was loved and cherished by his family and friends. He was a true hero of the faith and had a profound gift of touching the lives of others. Kenneth Daly will be deeply missed.

The funeral was held Monday, December 2, 2019 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Road, Flint, with Pastor Jon Gildner officiating. Burial service took place at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lapeer.
