Mildred M. Bruehl was born June 16, 1907 in Checotah McIntosh , Oklahoma the daughter of Joseph Bruehl and Katherine Golden Bruehl. Her father was born in Sandwich, Illinois and died in Checotah, Oklahoma in 1907. Her mother brought Mildred and her sister Maude and brother Eugene back to Watseka, Illinois to the home of Katherine's parents, Denis and Mariah (Mahan) Golden at 238 Park Avenue. Mildred graduated from Watseka High School and first married a Mr. Brown and later to Clarence Wilson. Both marriages ended in divorce. Mildred worked for many years at the Iroquois Title and Trust. She was a member of St. Edmund's Catholic Church in Watseka where her funeral was held after she died July 18, 1990. She is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery Watseka, Illinois next to her sister Maude Irene Grice.
