Jackson, Ohio - Services were to be held today at Calvary EUB Church for Mrs. Esther L. Yates, wife of David Yates. She died Wednesday night at Holzer Hospital in Gallipolis.
The 57-year-old woman was born at Waynesfield but moved to Jackson County 189 years ago. She resided in McKitterick Heights.
Besides her husband, she is survived by six children: Mrs. Helen Williamson of Wellston Rt. 2, Mrs. Dorothy Hunter and Mrs. Evelyn Scarberry of Jackson Rt. 2, Kathryn, at home, David of Wellston and Robert of Jackson; two brothers, David Dawson of Waynesfield and Harry of Indianapolios; two sisters, Mrs. Leora Ensley of Florida and Mrs. Ada Lee of Lima.
Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery directed by Sperry Funeral Home.
