Mrs. F. A. SCAMMELL DIES IN PUEBLO, COLORADO

Congressman A. C. Hart yesterday afternoon received a telegram from Pueblo, Colorado, announcing the death of his sister, Kathryn B., the wife of F. Allison Scammell. The sad intelligence was not altogether unexpected but was nevertheless a shock to the parents, Counselor and Mrs. R. M. Hart, and the members of the family. Mrs. Scammell leaves a husband and a young daughter. It is understood the remains will be brought here for burial.

The deceased was a favorite in the younger social set at the time of her marriage here to Mr. Scammell, who was a Hackensack boy, and it was with regret that their friends bade them good-bye when they left for the West 10 or 12 years ago. Mr. Scammell is a superintendent in the Bessemer Steel Works at Pueblo.

Mrs. Scammell attended High School here and was a member of the Hackensack Gold Club.

The funeral services will be held at the Christ Episcopal church, Hackensack, on Saturday afternoon, at which Rev. Dr. Holley, the former rector, may preside. Interment will be private.
