Rose C. Panichi , 98, HIBBING — Funeral services for Rose C. Panichi, 98, of Hibbing, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Hibbing.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Joe Panichi Jr., David Bugliosi, Jon Rutar Sr., Paul Panichi, Jason Panichi, Jess Panichi and Joe Bugliosi.
She died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003 in the Leisure Hills Health Care Center of Hibbing. She was born August 28, 1904 in Hibbing to Joseph and Clara (Neirotti) Maracchini. She was a lifelong resident who enjoyed gardening, crocheting and flowers. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, St. Anne's Circle, St. Rita's Guild and the National Catholic Society of Foresters.
She is survived by her son, Peter (Ruby) Panichi of Hibbing; a sister, Louise Selvo of Hibbing; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alipio; a son, Joseph; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Panichi; brothers, Joseph and Angelo Maracchini; and sisters: Maria, Vera and Pierina.
Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
