Son of Dr. Benjamin Cooke, organist of the Abbey (buried in the Abbey 21 Sept. 1792) by Mary his wife (buried in the Abbey 226 March 1784). He was for many years connected with the General Post Office. He died unmarried, and his sister Amelia is also buried in the Abbey 22 May 1845.
