GANONG: Thomas Ganong b. c1745 at Lake Mahopac, NY, died Jan 1810, s/o John Ganong or s/o Isaac Ganong and Rachel Moseman: married c1775 in NY Joanna Barlow born 22 Aug 1748 or 22 Aug 1749 at Lake Mahopac, NY, or 22 Aug 1751 at Sandwich, MA, died 11 Jan 1832 or 14 Jan 1833, d/o Nathan Barlow and Joanna Swift of Sandwich, MA: they came from Amenia in Dutchess County, NY to NB in 1783 as Loyalists: they settled at Kingston in Kingston Parish, Kings County:

4) Thomas Carleton Ganong born 8 Mar 1785 in Kingston Parish, died 2 Apr 1856 in Saint John, m. 27 Mar 1807 at Kingston, Elizabeth Cox born 11 Sep 1787 at Kingston, NB, d. 11 Apr 1860, d/o William Cox and Ann Dominick: they settled in Kingston and had eleven children:

5) Mary Ganong married Mr. Roane, sea-captain who was lost at sea.
