Mr. Brown, age 61, died on Tuesday, April 02, 2019 at Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Greenville, MS.

He was born on August 18, 1957 in Carroll County, MS, to the

late

Coles and Betty Skelton Brown

and lived in Teoc, MS. Steve and his best friend of 40 years, Roy Barnett, worked on oil field and land pipelines, and loved surveying before being disabled.

He leaves behind a wife to cherish his memories.

Steve loved the Lord. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and loved to hunt, fish, and garden.

He is preceded in death by

his two sisters, Beverly Brown Blaylock and Melinda Brown.

He is survived by

his wife of 17 years, Peggy Sue Prince Brown of Teoc, MS;

son, Stevie Brown of Austin, TX;

brother, Terry Brown(Debbie) of Teoc, MS;

four grandchildren and a

host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 05, 2019 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev. Gary Tanner and Rev. Laney Haley will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Stanley Stokes, Seth Boykin, Matthew Prince, Jim Holly, Chris Holly, Darrell Abels, and Derrick Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy Barnett, Raymond McKinnon, and Mike Harmon. Burial will follow at Moores Memorial Cemetery in Teoc.
