On Tuesday, July 7, 2015 God called from labor to reward, one of his precious servants, Mother Charlotte Wright Clemons. She was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an untiring woman of God consumed with the Holy Spirit and forever faithful to her Church and always relentless in fulfilling her Christian responsibilities.

Charlotte was born August 26, 1933, in Pineville, South Carolina to the late James *Moser* Wright and Rebecca Brown Wright. She was reared by her father and stepmother, the late Missouri P. Wright.

Charlotte was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County and graduated from Russellville High School.

Charlotte later became a seamstress at Ambler International in Orangeburg, SC. She also developed a love for Cosmetologists that led to a successful business adventure. She was considered one of the leading Cosmetologists in the surrounding counties.

Charlotte was baptized at an early age and joined Messiah Reformed Episcopal Church, Pineville, SC. It was there, she developed strong Christian values and a personal relationship with God.

Charlotte was joined in Holy Matrimony to James Clemons, Sr. in August 1951. To this union five children were born.

Charlotte was preceded in death by a brother, Felirley "Flip" Wright.

Charlotte became a member of the Johnson Temple (C.O.G.I.C.) of Holly Hill, SC in 1957 under Bishop Johnie Johnson, Jurisdiction Prelate of South Carolina. At Johnson Temple, she was a very dedicated and active member in several auxiliaries and one of the Church Mothers.

Charlotte became a representative of the "For You" Health and Nutritional Company of Loris, South Carolina in 1994. She became on the top Salesperson, winning numerous state awards and citations for outstanding salesmanship at the annual gala. She was one of the company’s leading recruiters, convincing people their health and well-being was imperative.

Charlotte leaves behind to cherish her memories: her devoted husband, James Clemons, Sr.; two daughters, Deloris (Donald) Sweeper of Columbia, SC and Rebecca (Morris) Wright of Santee, SC; three sons, James Clemons, Jr. of Holly Hill, SC, Joe Alonzo (Shelia) Clemons of Cross, SC, and Kenneth (Tamiko) Clemons of Tampa, FL; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Williams of Jersey City, NJ and Mrs. Beatrice Johnson of Hoboken, NJ; a sister-in-law, Byrdnell Wright; caregivers, Pearl Johnson Levine and Deborah Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
