PoPo was the beloved son of findagrave contributor Frank Russo. PoPo was "adopted" from an animal hospital in 2011 as a "special needs" cat. Po lost his right front leg from an infection when he was one, and then, unfortunately, his original owner passed away, leaving him without a home. After several unsuccessful tries, Po finally found his "Forever Home" with Frank and Joanne, his new mommy and daddy. Po was a gorgeous tuxedo cat with green eyes who got around amazingly well for a 'tripod'. He was fairly even tempered and enjoyed greeting people who came to visit, and got along with other fur babies as well. His favorite thing in the world was to be a 'lap cat' for his daddy and enjoyed getting his tummy rubbed. He was also very vocal, and enjoyed having 'conversations' with people. Po gained a lot weight over the years, which contributued to his health problems. In the fall of 2018 Po began not acting like his old self. On the evening of November 16, 2018, he was rushed to the veterinary hospital where xrays showed that he had a cancerous tumor of the stomach. His daddy made the hard but humane decision to let him cross over the Rainbow Bridge, where he is now happily running free with no pain. He will be terribly missed by his daddy until the day they are happily reunited, along with all of the rest of his "brothers and sisters". We Love You Little PoPo.
