"MRS. MARY THOMAS-- The funeral of Mrs. Mary Thomas, was held Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, from the residence of her daughter. Mrs. Chas. Matern, at Dowdentown. Rev. Harold Braden, pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church, Pottsville, conducted the services. The interment was made in the Llewellyn Cemetery. The Daughters of America, Llewellyn Lodge, conducted services at the house on Monday evening. The pall bearers were: Harry, Alvin, Clarence and Curtin Mattern, Franklin Redcay, Arthur Bobbs.
