A 1950 graduate of Chapman High School, she taught at Hearts Content, Rural Center, and Kellogg schools. On May 4, 1956, she married Thomas Robson of Abilene. He survives.
Elaine was a homemaker and music teacher, and was active in UPW, Mariners, Sunday school, and church choir.
Other survivors include daughters Jill (Rick) Snell, Heidi (John) Bylsma, and Wendy (Mark) Calderwood, sons Terry (Kristin) Robson and Kelly (Susan) Robson, 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Muriel.
Funeral services provided by Buhler Mortuary will be Monday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. at New Covenant Presbyterian Church in Hutchinson. The Rev. Tom and Elaine Robson served churches in Cottonwood Falls and Cedar Point from 1978-87.
