Jno. T. Allen, esq'r, was summoned from Lawrenceburg last Wednesday on account of the illness of his infant daughter, Ella. Mrs. Allen was visiting at Aspen Hill when the babe was taken with severe cold, resulting in pneumonia, from which it died last Sunday night.The burial took place at Maplewood Cemetery Monday afternoon, services by Rev. W. Weakley. The babe was born Feb. 4th last. We sympathize with the sorrowing parents. Grief comes in most withering and poignant intensity when evoked by the death of our little prattling babes that are nearest to our hearts.
